Horny yet forspent we muddle through

all at fours and at fives.

We feel rifled, we are mortgaged

watching the battlesore rape of our wives

by media, men and the newly engaged.

Conscripts under an army of what’s due,

worry and torment have pursued us

all the days of our lives:

mainly over trivia.

Money, things the usual militia

Of detail – girls, property sexual disguise;

The army of possibilities that eschewed us.
